At the end of the final of the 21st African Nations Volleyball Championship played this yesterday, Kenya beat Egypt 3 sets 0.
The Malkia Strikers of Kenya are the winners of the 2023 edition of the Women’s African Nations Volleyball Championship. They clinched their 10th title yesterday evening after winning Egypt 3 sets to 0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-14) in the final of the competition at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex. The Kenyans seize the crown from Cameroon that won bronze in this edition.
The Kenyan women thus won their 10th title in the competition and qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Cameroon finished on the podium by winning the small final against Rwanda 3 sets 1.
