The Franco-Cameroonian writer Calixthe Beyala in a post on her Facebook page on November 30, 2021, denounces the “incestuous” reports maintained by bloggers and certain Cameroonian leaders. According to her, “some of our leaders consider elites inside Cameroon or outside the country as real political rivals”.
Camerounactuonline.com offers you below, the chronicle of Calixthe Beyala
Two weeks ago an audio that went viral on social media depicted a conversation between the head of Military Security and a whistleblower. For the writer Calixthe Beyala, this is proof that there is a link between certain bloggers and certain pundits of the Yaoundé regime.
Incestuous relationships between some bloggers and many of Cameroon’s leaders are established.
I’ve been talking about it for months! It seemed absurd to me that young people whom I did not know from Eve or Adam get up one morning and insult me!
The first reaction is to accuse the opposition of having sponsored these attacks … But I strongly doubted the guilt of this opposition that I did not know, with which I had no acquaintance or relationship. ‘elsewhere !
The reality is now before our eyes: some of our leaders consider elites inside Cameroon or outside the country as real political rivals. It would therefore be advisable for them to eliminate them. To do this, they have false police reports drawn up against them; they sponsor articles against them from bloggers. The latter for ridiculous sums are having fun.
They slander them! They vilify them! I They dirty them so deeply that my grandmother’s latrines smell like roses next to the filth with which they are covered! They give them all the names of non-existent birds and finally intimidate them, thus preventing them from taking part in the debates which animate the nation.
And it is a shame for a large country like Cameroon which has prestigious, highly qualified personalities capable of bringing added value to our beautiful nation.
It remains to be hoped that over time, this very cowardly behavior, this trap, to put it mildly, will change for the greater good of our country.
