After a year of operation, the Higher Catholic Institute St Tarcisius of Edea is solemnly inaugurated on November 9.
In prelude to the inauguration, a mass is underway at the Mbanda Cathedral in Edea, in the presence of among others Mgr Jean-Bosco Ntep, Bishop of the Diocese of Edea, Genevieve Tjoues, Senator and former Catholic teacher, of the city of Edea, Dr Albert Emmanuel Nlend, by Joseph Antoine Bell, and a multitude of Catholic faithful.
With a staff of 195 students and some 50 teachers, the Institute trains primarily in the fields of management, law and agronomy and agricultural sciences. It will present its first candidates for BTS National Exam in the upcoming session.
The Saint Tarcisius Catholic Higher Institute (ISSAT) is a private institute of higher education. ISSAT is located in the city of Edéa. The Saint Tarcisius Institute is a school of the Archdiocese of Edea and offers training that is not only technical but also imbued with the ethics advocated by the clergy. The ISSAT of Edéa currently offers training in HND and BTS in the fields of agriculture, commerce and sales, management and law.
