Co-chaired by the Minister of Defense of the Central African Republic, Rameaux-Claude Bireaux, and the Minister Delegate to the Presidency in charge of Defense of Cameroon, Joseph Beti Assomo, accompanied by their senior staff, “this meeting provided an opportunity to assess security threats, improve military cooperation, and facilitate the free movement of people and goods.” More details can be found in Le Drapeau, on newsstands this morning.

In October 2011, Head of State Paul Biya, in his campaign speech, announced the implementation of major projects across the national triangle. As the Head of State’s representative, Minister of State SGPR came to inquire about the progress of the work undertaken at the PAD since 2011, all of which is in line with President Paul Biya’s promises, whose vision is to make the Autonomous Port of Douala-Bonaberi a hub for development and port attractiveness, making it more competitive. The newspaper L’Equation reports on this in its morning edition.

“Infrastructure and Superstructure of the Port of Douala-Bonabéri: The SGPR Satisfied!” is the headline in Sans Détour on newsstands. On March 15, 2025, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, Minister of State and Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, visited the renovated and modernized facilities of the Port of Douala-Bonabéri. “Observation: the Gulf of Guinea’s benchmark platform for port operations is looking great. The promises made by Head of State Paul Biya during his election tour of the economic capital on October 6, 2011, are becoming reality,” it reads.
