Enroute to put the 225 Kv line between Nkongsamba and Bafoussam under tension, Minister of Water and Energy, Gaston Eloundou Essomba, stopped this Sunday, July 3 at the Edea transmission station, being completed.
This is an infrastructure through which electricity from Kribi will pass before being injected into the grid to power Edéa, Douala and Yaoundé among others with better quality electricity.
The minister noted that work by the Elecnor company was progressing at a good pace and was expected to be delivered within a few months.
