International Women’s Day 2023:Cerac gets into Kung Fu

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Circle of Friends of Cameroon has opted for a sporty morning this Saturday.

On program Chinese exercise and massage At the headquarters of the association, CERAC women are trained by coaches from the federation Cameroonian Kung-fu Wushu and similar disciplines.

Exercises that, for these women of a certain age, promote good blood circulation, calming the mind, among others. Another workshop enjoyed by women is the self-defense technique, which they find very useful for their own safety.

International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on 8 March as a global day focussing on the women’s rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.

This year, the theme for the UN International Women’s Day is ‘DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality.’
