This is the fourth handover of housing to beneficiaries since the launch of the project in 2010.
This Tuesday, July 27, 2021, Célestine Ketcha Courtès chaired the handover of the keys to the 4th wave of buyers of social housing in Mbanga-bakoko in Douala.
After a last similar ceremony of May 25, 2021, hundreds of families said “thank you to President Paul Biya” for the effectiveness of this vast government program of construction of 10,000 social housing and development of 50,000 building plots in the cities of Douala and Yaoundé.
This new handover, which takes place in the space of two months, is the result, we learn, of the speed in the processing of buyers’ files. We remember that in a press release signed on May 24, 2021, Célestine Ketcha Courtès “informed the 119 buyers of the eligible list, that to date, only 64 clients have updated their files at the Crédit foncier agency. of Cameroon (CFC) of Douala ”.
This ceremony was enhanced by the presentation of a large donation of hygiene and sanitation equipment, as well as computer equipment, festive and sound equipment, generating income for the development committee of the city of mbanga-bakoko ( CODESIMBAB), represented here by its president Ngo’o Epoupe Raphaël.
